Karl Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 I have a question about when we can get in to setup. 17. Facility Rules and Regulations 1) Mid-Ohio gates will open on Monday Sept 3rd at 7AM and remain open 24hrs per day until 10PM Sunday Sept 9 th . Once you are credentialed you will have 24 hour access Will I be able to be credentialed 24hrs a day from monday on, or will I need to go to registration at a different time? I plan on arriving tuesday 7-9pm and want to make sure I can get in.
kmie67 Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 You will need to stop by NASA Registration to get your credentials. Registration will be open Tues from 12-8pm. Might be open a little later than that, but I'm only guaranteeing til 8pm. If you arrive and NASA registration is already closed for Tues evening, you can still get into the paddock 24/7 but will need to come to Registration sometime on Wed to get your permanent credentials. Registration will open Wed from 0630-8pm. There will be NASA registration hours every day if you have crew coming in later in the week. Be sure to check the final schedule for the hours as they are not the same everyday. Hope this helps! Safe travels!
dbuck44 Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 Will the track or NASA be charging for spectator ( family, friends, sponsors) of registered competitors for Nationals and if so what will be the price. I'm sure my answer is on here somewhere, I just can't find it. Thanks,

I'm sure my answer is on here somewhere, I just can't find it. Thanks, Yes and based on this link it looks like $35... but 2 for one deal on Groupon. Ends in 2 hours though! http://www.groupon.com/deals/gl-mid-ohio-sports-car-course?c=all&p=11 Keep in mind youre allowed 4 crew
kbrew8991 Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 Eric is right - 4 freebies with the entry as crew. Often time most people don't use all 4 so you could ask around and "borrow" someone's unused crew pass as well...
kmie67 Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 The track does charge for spectators. There is a event pass if purchased early in the week or a daily rate later in the week. The event pass will be $40 and the daily pass was $15 last year but I am not certain if that is the same for this year. You can get more specific information from NASA Registration when you check in there. Be sure to check the Registration hours posted at the top of the schedule. NASA Registration opens Tuesday from 12-8pm. We will be open early every morning until at least noon beginning Wed morning. We will be open for a short time every afternoon except Sunday. Feel free to PM me if you have more specific questions that I didn't answer.
pradey Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 The following is a link to the MidOhio website with pricing that they will be charging for the event. http://www.midohio.com/Schedule/NASA-Championships-presented-by-Toyo-Tires-2012 They list the weekend pass as being Friday through Sunday. In past years, the advance purchase discount used to go to about a week before the event and this year it only went through the begining of May. The main entrance may be open on the weekend. I would recommend anyone wanting to buy tickets to wait until they get to Mid-Ohio since what they do not put on the pricing page is the $9 service charge that they will add to any order. Something you will not have to pay if you buy at the track. They usually have a location where you can pay by credit card, but it may be a different spot than the entrance for cash.
kmie67 Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 The best bet is to come check in with NASA registration and we will have all the details and be able to answer questions on a case by case basis.
Micks 41 Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 What do we need to bring to registration? I assume a photo ID, membership card, comp license, but are there any forms or other items that I can fill out in advance that would help speed the process?
