Just want to make sure that there is NO sound limit for the championships? Anyone know for sure?

I'm not the authority, but Mid-Ohio itself doesn't have any decibel limits as far as I'm aware. As far as NASA goes, there is nothing about sound limits in the Championships event rules and regulations on the championships website.

wasn't any limit published, enforced, etc when I went in 2006 & 2007 and I haven't spotted anything indicating a change from that.

That said, don't be "that guy" that ends up getting everyone slapped with a dB limit....

Yeah, in 2006, 2007, 2008 and last year, there was no limitation. Just want to make sure that I didn't miss a rule change. Thanks everyone. My turbo honda isn't that loud anyway

I bet he just means that his car is going to seem so fast that you'll think it's turbo'd...

Hello everybody,

No sound limit at the Championships at Mid Ohio. Don't you all love a local community that supports a local track like that?!? Yes, I'm from California where the sound limits are all too common because of people that buy houses next to racetracks...

Yea, no sound limit at Mid-O. If there was I wouldn't have been able to run the Championship race last year, as I had to cut off the muffler after I got hit in qualifying. Not that my car is that quiet with a muffler......
