Porsche Challenge Series or GTS Headers Question

Hi,

I have read in the PCS rule book about "not exceeding 1.5" for OD on headers for 3.2L engine. This is a very small OD for the 3.2L and requires a 1/4" material to fit up properly... Making the headers tinny sounding and their longevity questionable. I am reading this correctly.. The normal size headers for the 3.2L is 1 5/8" or 1 3/4" OD.... Can anyone comment or confirm my understanding?

Sorry I can't speak for PCS (somebody else may be able to), but for GTS you can do whatever you like.
