I will pick Shelton, and I expect a great livery and some amazing photos of our cars since we will have a famous Forza racer on our team.

I'll do my best on attendance. Problem is my drinking tends to bleed over to include Monday nights. If/when I'm REALLY slow, you'll know why.

I select API/Lindy with my 2nd round pick. I know there has to be some more speed in him, and I intend to get it out of him.

Given that there were two drivers left and Shaun had the next two picks, I went ahead and assigned those drivers to the Honda Racing team. We still have a few weeks until that series kicks off, but feel free to begin tuning/testing for it when you have time.

In the meantime, we have Round 6 of the Supercar Shootout coming up on Monday at Road America.

Hey Guys,

Looking at purchasing an Xbox and Forza. Yes, I am out of touch with the whole video game age. But, willing to learn! LOL! Want to know what type of wheel and pedals should I purchase? Looking for something economical. Really want to try to get familiar with RA as I have not been there before. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks

Almost nobody uses the wheels and pedals. They just don't have the kind of positive feedback to make them worth the investment. That in and of itself will make it far more economical for you to get involved. All you need is an Xbox and a copy of the game. RA is in the game, but be forewarned - while it is a close copy, there are quite a few differences from the real version. All that aside, we would love to have you join us. Don't worry about being competitive at first - just hang out and have fun. Everything you need to know is in the original post, but if you have any questions just ask.

I think the Fanatec wheel and pedal set up is the best but I don't know. As for RA you will learn a lil, not much. T3 you can just skip right over hahaha.

There are 2 wheels to look into. There's the wheel from microsoft that has 270 degrees of rotation (3/4 turn left and right) or you can spend some more money and get the Fanatec GT2/CSR/CSR Elite. 3 different wheels with 3 different prices, but they all have 900 degrees of rotation (2 1/2 turns left and right, real car). The feedback that comes through the MS wheels is... in need of some help. It works, but its not life like. The Fanatec setups are amazing. The GT2 was made as their star child a couple years back and was based off the Porsche 911 GT2 steering wheel. Then Forza Motorsport 4 came out, Fanatec made their CSR line. The CSR is about the same as the GT2, but with small differences, where as the CSR Elite, had a new body, belt driven feedback and loads of other sorts of things. The elite could run you up to $600 for wheel and pedal set. The CSR will be around $200-$400, depending on condition and options on it. The MS wheel can be found on Craigslist from $50 to $150.

The choice is yours, but check out insidesimracing on youtube. They have every fact about everything related to racing games.

Points after race #6:

1. King Tut333 49

2. xBDx Reaper 38

3. SubaruCooper93 29

4. bens98gt 26

5. Me 24

6. jinklejinx 24

7. RandomHandle 20

8. APIndy 16

9. Zayne D 6

10. BMWTurboM3 1

First of all, congratulations to Jinx on his first race win. Second, this had to be one of the sloppiest races we've seem in a while. If I had part in damaging your car, Ben, I apologize. There was quite a lot of contact during this race. I think most, if not all, of it was unavoidable and can be chalked up to racing.

Next week we race at Sunset Peninsula. Break out your grip setups and watch those rumple strips.

I guess you could say they were unavoidable. Grip setups? Now there is a joke if I ever saw one. I will be softening up my car to make sure I don't roll it on the rumble strips though.

Last night's race was great for me. Even if it was sloppy for everyone else, I was able to run my fastest lap time. I was down in the low 2:12s dirty and I think I may have had a dirty 2:11. I thought a few times I was going to be able to pass Ben but his HP just left me behind on the straights. I decided before we ran to switch my cars setup to a different tune and was nervous I was going to be all over the place. I guess it helped me out as I did much better.

Elliott it wasnt entirely your fault we were co

ming up under the bridge on the front straight and you were coming over on me and I was trying to give you room and hit the wall. We might have made slight contact though. I was just mad I was down on power the first half of race.

AP you did good! I know that ZR1 power would be a monster on straights and that was the difference. I was pushing 860 rwhp and breaking 193 entering T1. Any drag race with me was lost lol

Shaun you got lucky through the carousel

Last night was great for me, aside from messing up here and there and basically giving the race to Jinx. I definitely had the top end HP but he must have learned how to tune that GT2 because he was way faster than me in the turns. The Lex is pretty solid in the corners, but it hails in comparison to the RR setup of the Porsche. So on that note, congrats, Jinx!

I'm glad everyone checked up on the back stretch after the kink when Tut wrecked. I was expecting someone (Ben.....Shelton) to come up and slam into me. Good job on that one, guys.

Indy, good job getting some quick times. You're getting much faster than you once were. I stayed around 2:12-2:13 most of the race. I think my fastest time was 2:11.999 (go figure).

I'm glad I changed my setup at the last minute. I had my grip setup loaded and was only able to get 2:17's in practice. Unfortunately, with my other setup, I could only add about 70hp due to the fact the LFA is almost topped out HP wise at 715PI. I dropped to street tires and it seemed to handle Road America much better. Weird, but I'm not questioning it.
