kdm_usa Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 Drop in a crate motor and a tranny and go racing! This car has been converted to road racing spec (brakes, rear end, steering ratio, etc) and just needs and engine and tranny. I was going to use it as a track day car. With a reliable crate motor, it would be a relatively inexpensive track-day car, especially considering that lightly-used tires can be bought for $100 a piece. However, I have decided to race an American Iron car instead. History: This car was used by Team Rensi Motorsports in the Nationwide Series in 2009. It was used as a backup car and for qualifying at Daytona. It was driven by Eric McClure. The car thus has hardly any use on it. The sponsorship stickers and the engine and transmission were removed before it was sold by the team to a private owner in North Carolina. He converted it to road racing specs with Willwood brakes, road racing rear end and steering, etc. It just needs an engine and transmission. As you can see from the photos, it is otherwise totally complete. Condition: These body/chassis alone costs NASCAR teams $40,000, and this car is hardly used. It shows no signs whatsoever of having any accidents. The paint is high quality and looks great. Note that I do have the correct headlight/tail light graphics for the car. Photos: I can email quality photos. Payment: I accept cash/wire transfer/etc, but NOT PayPal. Shipping: The car is located in Independence, CA, a little town 3 hours north of Los Angeles. Keep this in mind when figuring out shipping quotes. I can deliver the car to Los Angeles for $300. Disclaimer: This car is sold as-is. I have tried to describe it as honestly as I can, but I know little about NASCAR. I will gladly answer all your questions by phone or email. Quote
