TeamEvolutionMS Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 My 1993 Mazda RX7 is for sale. The car came from a 1993 Mazda RX7 R1 (no sunroof, track version) street car with approximately 20K miles since new, and it has been built to the highest of standards. Over $120K build cost. This car won the 2011 and 2012 NASA-SE ST2 Championship, as well as the 2010 and 2011 PBOC R4 Championship. Car has never been hit and is 100% straight, and has never been abused. Lap Times; Road Atlanta - 1:32.XX Barber - 1:36.XX CMP - 1:42.XX Car was built from the ground up by Mazcare, a well know Mazda race shop here in Atlanta. Many parts used on this car were "factory" derived parts from Mazdaspeed and "SpeedSource", the factory Mazda team in Grand-Am. Brakes: Car has Brembo 4 Piston Front Brakes, and Brembo Rotors. The calipers have been refreshed as of 10/2012. Only Brembo rotors have been used. Rear brakes are the factory 1993 R1 rear calipers with Brembo Rotors. This car has the best brakes of any race car I've ever driven. PFC pads used on all 4 corners. Only Castrol SRF used. Massive front brake ducts. Engine: Engine is a Mazmart 2 Rotor with a BNR Racing Twin Turbo setup. Car makes 350 RWHP at 15 lbs of boost. Approximately 15 Hours since new. Programmable Boost Controller. Engine is built to last, not make power. Massive radiator and inter-cooler setup insures the temps are never hot, even in 110' heat. Safety: FIA spec roll cage built by Jason Barnes, same guy who builds them for Panoz/Elan Motorsports. MOMO Driver seat, Scroth Racing HANS Enduro Belts, MOMO quick release wheel with hub, Scroth Center and Window Nets. Safecraft onboard fire system, 3 nozzles. Longacre kill switch. Custom Carbon Fiber switch panel. Aero: APR Performance GTC500 Rear Wing with custom end plates. Massive front splitter. Fully Functional Rear Diffuser. Suspension: Tein 3 way adjustable coilovers, with custom spring ratings. Custom Front Swaybar from SpeedSource Solid Bushings throughout Weight: Car weighs in at 2830 lbs including fuel and 200 lb driver (No ballast). Very light weight, thanks to Lexan front and rear windows. Misc: Coolshirt/Helmet Blower setup, Traqmate with Chasecam system. Multiple sets of spares available, including new and used brake pads. Multiple sets of CCW Wheels, used Hoosier R6/A6 tires, as well as Hoosier wets. Asking $50K for everything. I have more high-res photos I can send, as well as a build sheet and dyno results. Feel free to call or email. In-Car video can be seen here: http://www.youtube.com/user/KevinCliffordRacing/videos?view=0&flow=grid Thanks! Kevin Clifford [email protected] 678-448-6676 Quote
