slowclimb Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Body is straight and solid, Top is in good shape. This car was flooded in Irene (under freshwater to the bottom of the seats for 30 minutes) I bought it back from the insurance company and did the following work: Replaced all fluids – Mobile 1 in Motor (Changed every 6 months due to low miles put on car), Transmission oil changed once a year, including the oil in the turret, since purchase 3 years ago, diff oil changed twice since Irene, Clutch and Brake fluid swapped for ATE Blue, Gutted the interior, added a Sparco Sprint V driver seat. Put in a new ECU, New Clutch Slave Cylinder, New Rotors, New Pads (Stock up front with Hawk HP in the rear), Racing Beat Front and Rear Sway Bar (rear not installed), Racing Beat Exhaust, Koni Yellow Adjustable Shocks, Racing Beat Springs, Racing Beat Intake, Racelund Header, Radio and antenna Deleted, all new alignement bolts with an aggressive alignment completed with me in the Driver's Seat, Alignment printout in car, New Rubber Shifter Boot. If I was keeping the car I would do the following – timing belt – it was changed once at 80K miles by the Original owner…but that was a long time ago, should probably do the water pump at the same time, I have a replacement OEM Radiator to swap at the same time, plus some of the hoses. Stiffer Spring Set up – The Racing beats are stiffer then stock buy IMHO it is undersprung for AutoCross or track, I would go with 750 in the front and 400 in the rear…as a Daily Driver they are great. If you were going to keep the current spring and tire set up you would want to roll the front fenders. I have it on Craigslist and Cars.com for 4K, but could let it go for 3250 since there is some work to do. The car is put away for the winter, but I will get it back on the road for anyone interested in taking a look. The car is near Madison in Morris County NJ. Selling this to help fund my 8 year olds Karting this summer. Please email me at [email protected] Can send pics - but there is a pic up in the for sale section of Autox4u.com Quote
