Is the Sunday morning warm-up the only pre-race track time for enduro cars/drivers this weekend, or will enduro cars be able to join one of the race groups for Saturday's warm-up and/or qualifying?

The Sunday morning warm-up is the only time alotted for enduro practice. To determine the grid, I believe they will use one of the alternative methods (random, pea pick, etc.) rather than a normal qualifying session. I will post as soon as I confirm. Thanks!

Western Endurance Racing Championship Series

Round One Results

February 10, 2013

Seventeen(17) endurance racing teams took to the track for the 2013 WERC season opener held at Sonoma Raceway on February 10, 2013. The weather was clear and a crisp 35 degrees when the green flag fell. Great racing among all of the classes, with more than one team fielding all new cars for this year's endurance racing series.

As has become the hallmark of the Series, drivers and crew again performed flawlessly both on track and in the pits, with virtually no incidents or pit penalties in the 2-hour race. Congratulations to our winners and podium finishers, and big hats off to these "Can do!" enduro teams for their preparedness and dedication in fielding cars in the earliest date the WERC has ever seen for a regularly scheduled race. The final results at the checkered flag:

El Diablo finished 2nd?! That E36 was ridiculous @ the 25.

Great race, and El Diablo was just 26 seconds back at the finish.....
