Hi everybody, Im new to NASA but have done track days in the past with my friend where we split the day half and half (only there were 6 sessions instead of 4) I was wondering if my friend and I could split a NASA HPDE in half so we each run 2 sessions per day? Would he have to pay entry as well or do I just have to pay? Has anyone done this before in the midwest region?

In Mid-Atlantic there are 3 sessions per day.

Only the director in your region can answer that. Send them a message that your considering signing up but this is what you would like to do. Not sure what any extra costs might be but I would think they could accommodate you.

The above will be the ultimate decision-maker however, I'm fairly certain that your friend would have to both be a NASA member as well as pay the event fees. If I'm not mistaken I've seen this asked in the SE and the answer was that you could share a car but you both pay entry fees and basically give up driving half the event so the other party can drive. Just get him a rental... joking, of course.

I've been on track in HPDE with a guy that flew in and rented a mustang GT. I seriously doubt he told them what he was doing with it!!!
