fasteddie123 Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 Hi everyone, Im new to NASA but Ive been to track days before with lesser groups. This summer Im looking at getting some insurance for an HPDE Im doing in July. Does anybody have any experience with HPDE insurance? I found this website: http://hpdeins.locktonaffinity.com/. Has anyone used them before and are they good? Thanks! Quote
jimbow Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 Whenever I have drive the daily on the track I use them. Never had a claim with them. Others have and their service is fine. Large deductible though, but its the same with any HPDE underwriter. Quote
MFE Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 I know people who have purchased policies, but I don't know anyone who's had to USE it. FWIW the Lockton HPDE insurance program was spearheaded by a great guy who's a racer and instructor with the BMW CCA. He's "one of us" and he really had the needs of the drivers in mind as he pushed the program forward. Quote
427R Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 Look into OnTrackInsurance.com. I just hooked up with them for my events this year. They're underwritten by Great American Insurance Group, that covers 50 states and DC. You get discounts for setting up 3 or more event coverages. Quote
