memphisracing.com
Currently doing HPDE in a 2010 Corvette Z06, HPDE 3 at the local track in my area. Have owned a 350Z in the past, so I am interested in this class. Looking at the 2013 Spec Z rules, it looked like a 350Z, racing seat, harness, helmet, and racing suit was all you need to get started. No fire suppression or cage required - is that accurate? The 350Z in stock form is loads of fun, so this is intriguing to say the least.
dkmura
Since Spec Z is a door-to-door racing class, it must comply with the CCR as far as safety equipment is concerned. That means a full roll cage, window net and fire supression system are mandatory. But you're right, Spec Z is a fun class, designed for guys like you! memphisracing.com
Yes I figured as much. Still very low cost of entry all in all.
