sfteague
I don't see any track records for Laguna Seca on the NASA TT website: http://www.nasa-tt.com/Norcal_Track_Records Does that mean when it is run in July, every class will set a record? Or are the standing records just not posted?
jrlz0306
I don't think they have ever run TT there, so all new records. -------- John TT3 Z06

kbrew8991
Dang - did this event fill up already? Any chance that it'll happen next year? I'd make the haul out if I had enough advance notice to plan for it.... looks like planning to jump on registration will take the most effort. It filled up almost instantly because NASA never runs that track and LS imposes limits on how many cars can be on track at once.
kbrew8991
Any chance of this event in 2014, 15, etc? though if it fills up that fast and they give priority to CA people I'd probably be out in the cold anyway...
National Staff Greg G. Posted May 30, 2013 National Staff Share Posted May 30, 2013 I don't see any track records for Laguna Seca on the NASA TT website: http://www.nasa-tt.com/Norcal_Track_Records Does that mean when it is run in July, every class will set a record? Or are the standing records just not posted? This is a combined NorCal and SoCal event. The winners will have track records that will be posted in both NorCal TT and SoCal TT. We have two TT run groups of 35 drivers each (full with a waiting list). This might end up being the biggest TT event ever (topping the total numbers at the Championships by a few drivers.) jsbumed
Greg, I think we may have you beat there. I don't have the numbers in front of me, but I am pretty sure we have had right around 90 drivers at Mid-Ohio when we ran split TT groups at our cross over events right before Nationals. 70 sounds like a blast though at a great track. When registration opened I wish I could have justified the expense for a haul that long. I would have loved to come out to run with you guys at that track! hhdinyuma
Greg, Just curious if you would be willing to share the car counts registered for each class so far?
