For sale: 1985 PTF/TTF RX-7, was raced for many years as a Spec-7 car. My understanding was that this was a shop car at a local race shop, and I can attest that much of the prep work on this car was very solidly done. This car has been very reliable and is very fun to drive.

 

This is an Arizona car. In other words, NO RUST.

Current NASA logbook

Safety harness and nets are current (harness good to March 2014)

Suspension per Spec-7 rules (springs and swaybars, Tokico dampers)

Adjustable rear swaybar

Hawk Blue pads all four wheels (rear disk brakes)

Autopower cage

Stock 12A motor

Currently on RA-1 tires with a little bit of all four grooves left

Spare set of wheels with old Hoosier R6s mounted

Weighs ~2530 lbs w/180 lb driver and 1/2 tank

Minimum competition weight for this car in PTF/TTF is 2340 lbs, so there's lots of opportunity to lose weight and go faster.
