1M Fan Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 It's time for an engine rebuilt and I want to do it with longevity in mind. To this end, I'm considering ARP rod bolts but I'm not sure if they qualify as OE replacements. I was also looking at Lindsey Racing's mod to the cross member so it the center can be removed without loosening the suspension. It is an OE part, but it is modified and not sure if it is legal. will make installing the engine or removing the pan in the future much easier. Quote
Sterling Doc Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 ARP hardware is OK. The 3 piece subframe has been debated before and decided against. We've seen too many structural failures with this modification in racing use. Quote
