suck fumes Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 Only two cars are registered right now and in order for us to even have a race at nationals two more people need to sign up!!! WHO ELSE IS COMING FOR SURE??? Quote
Mystic_Cobra Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 I do not know of any Spec Iron drivers in Mid Atlantic. Where are our SI guys/gals? Quote
T&A Racing Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 We have not had any this season in the Central Region either, if I knew Spec Iron would be in a different run group than AI then I would try to get a rental and sign up. Seems like it would be a fun class, and kind of neat to be at the first national race. Quote
stevepoe Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 (edited) if Nationals would have been at Mid ohio or someplace east you would have your car count. Just to far away to justify the haul for that place. Least for me it is and a few others I have spoke with Lookout in The southeast next year. I think this will be the region of spec iron cars. Keep in mind the class just started in what Feb of this year ? Takes some time to build a car guys Edited July 18, 2013 by Guest Quote
SNAKBITN Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 My shocks just arrived this week which was the last of the major parts I needed. The car is gutted now.I hope we'll be finished by October. But like Steve said that's along haul to Miller. If the class would've been announced in the middle of last year I think there would be a lot more cars signed up.Look at the Spec Z class from last year to this year.I know in the SE region there are a few more of those cars this year.SI will start to get traction next year especially in the SE region. NASA13 Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 I will sign up as soon as I get some track miles on the car and prove that its ready for such a venture. Quote
suck fumes Posted July 20, 2013 Author Posted July 20, 2013 For those of you who have installed the suspension you will notice that the front stock end links are no where close to fitting with the ford racing sway bar due to where the links bolt onto the new HVT struts...makes the end links drop lower and they are an inch lower than the bar so there is no way to ever bolt them on. RCR is on its way to submission Quote
