Jason Weaver Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Due to a new business venture / opportunity / time constraints. I have decided to put my 1995 BMW M3 NASA GTS2 racecar for sale - again. We listed the car about a year ago - kinda halfheartedly - this time it has to go...... The car although not on track - it's driven regularly to keep it fresh / all in working order. The car has a clean and clear NC title that will be transferred as well as bill of sale. The car was built from an all original, 1 owner, never wrecked 1995 M3 with exceptional service records. The car was purchased in August 2003 and after being daily driven for a few months the car was completely gone through built to I stock specifications. BMWCCA logbook issued in mid 2004. The car was raced in BMWCCA I stock class until 2006 with only a total of 8 races in that time frame. This car was the 2005 and 2006 BMW Mid Atlantic Regional Championships. In 2006 the car was transitioned to NASA GTS2 and further modifications were made. Between 2006-2008 the car ran only 8 races. The car is still very close to street legal and has been driven a little on the street and a few practice days since then. This car has won NASA class and overall wins and then been driven home to Raleigh! The car has never been bent up - always prepped and well cared for 100%. I have receipts totaling a $45k dollar investment right down to every quart of Mobil 1 that's ever been in the car since my ownership. The car is fast - dead reliable - and easy to drive. Only 1 mechanical DNF in 5 years of racing. The car can be very competitive in GTS2 now and with a little futher devolopment be a front runner. Great fit for a DE / get your comp license scenario. The car will obviously need belts and a fresh window net to obtain a current annual inspection. For reference purposes the car has turned a best of 2:12.xx at VIR full as it sits in GTS2 trim - I'm sure you can make it go faster! For the sake of lengthy advertisement I'll try to hit the high spots of the car as it sits in terms of modifications. You could pull the decals off this car if so desired and it would stand up beside and nice 95 M3 street car in cleanliness. All interior is removed with the exception of the front carpet. Heater / defroster is still present. Headlights turn signals present - can be driven on the street. This car is ready to race - or a killer DE / school car with all the safety appointments. Why bend up that nice street car and take a chance on getting hurt? Or just as bad of a mistake of buying a car and building from scratch and have a small fortune invested! Buy this car for pennies on the dollar and be done. All work done by a 30 year BMW master technician as well as Dave Davis of Dave's Automotive who is the premier BMW race car technician in our area. Asking $18,950 obo - street car trades considered. Numerous high res pictures available to a serious buyer.
