1991 Nissan NX2000 original hard top

-8 point roll cage by Steve Scott with custom NASCAR door bars

-full gutted interior taken down to the metal and all excess tabs, brackets and screws removed from the body and dash bar; repainted silver.

-antenna fender hole, rear hatch wiper hole were filled for a cleaner look.

-many, many things done to make this the lightest NX it can be. If it wasn't needed for sprint racing or safety, it was removed.

-car weighs 2085 lbs without driver, wet, with full stock bumpers

-Shields Racing ¼" polycarbonate windshield

-VIS Racing carbon fiber hood with heat extractor

-15x7 Rota wheels

-225/45-15 Toyo RA-1 tires

-hardwired AMB transponder

 

Suspension

-Shigspeed Koni 8611 dual adjustable struts front and rear, new with fewer than 6 race weekends on them, but fronts just "refreshened" and dyno'ed before this last race

-650#/500# springs F/R

-Ground Control camber/caster plates

-Shigspeed rear top hats

-Suspension Techniques rear swaybar

-Energy Suspenion bushings all around

-Whiteline lower control arm brace

-Wilwood superlite 4 piston front brakes

 

Engine

-JDM 10:1 motor with 6 race weekends on it

-JWT S3 cams, JWT ECU

-Outlaw Engineering ThermoBlok spacers

-ActiveTuning Engine Grounding system

-Hotshot Header with dual 3" Magnaflow stainless mufflers with undercar turn down and heat shield

-Hotshot Cold Air Intake

-Meziere electric SR20 water pump with modified cooling passages

-Howe gigantic custom built radiator

-Last dyno was 144.1 whp which means about 2306 lbs- right at minimum weight

 

Transmission

-Quaife differential in stock NX transmission

-Redline Shockproof Heavy transmission fluid

-AP Racing pressure plate and 2000 SE OEM clutch disk

-new OEM axles with 12 weekends on them

 

Interior

-Sparco Pro2000 FIA certified seat(expired)

-Longacre carbon fiber Ignition panel (car has push button start)

-Autometer electric water temperature gauge

-Nissport battery box relocated to trunk

-Small Miata sized battery

I discovered that I just don't seem to enjoy racing FWD cars as much as RWD so I'm back in a RWD car and this one needs to go.
