Camaro STR-1/ST-1 car for sale $32,500

This is a tube frame Gen III Camaro run in the early 90's as a Grand Am GS car and subsequently as a Trans Am and GT-1 car. I purchased the car about one year ago with goal of racing it as a NASA STR-1 car (which will now likely fold into ST-1). Professional commitments simply have kept me from using it and i have decided to focus my limited time on driving my ST-2 corvette and a car i can drive to the track for time trials/track days. The exterior body pieces except rear quarter panels were replaced with new Derhaag body work as well as front and back new Lexan (new Derhaag rear quarter panels come with car along with extra nose pieces). The interior was redone with new gauges and "dashboard" + new schroth belts + new seat + new nets. The fire suppression system updated. Brand new fuel cell. The car has been maintained and developed by the professionals at 7's Only Racing. The engine is a chevrolet SB-2 NASCAR type high rev motor detuned currently to about 450 rwhp/480 lb torque with expected much longevity. 4 speed Jericho transmission. Penske adjustable shocks. Amazing brakes. The car is safe, reliable and easy to work on. A street car turned into ST-1 with these capabilities would cost 2-3 times the price of this car. The car currently is at 7's only Racing at Buttonwillow Raceway. Has NASA logbook and recent inspection.
