afaitel Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 RX7 LS1 Street car/ race car This car is right in the middle; you could use it for a race car or street car. The new owner could make it a 100% race car, or you could take some steps back to make it more of a street car with a cage. The car has done 3 track weeks and no problems, NASA logbook, time 1:48 on the long course and Watefordhills.com logbook, time 1:18.8 I have seen full race cars sell for big money. You could take out the 2 race seats. We have no race graphics on the car. We still have the stock muffler on the car, so it is quiet. On the street you can be at red line and people on the sidewalk don’t even look. 12 stock wheels, 8 with Toyo-RA1 they still have the horizontal lines, (not fast yet) On track the car handles beautifully, if you get in trouble you just lift and correct and then you're back in the gas. If you want to drift the car it’s very well balanced, never pushing. Does not burn oil or get hot We did in install a diff cooler, we had the diff oil getting hot. Tein shocks, adjustable they have 28 clicks, on the street I run full soft and the car rides just like stock, it squats nicely when you launch. 93 Red/Tan Touring LS1 Engine: 5.3 out of a 2004 silverado LS6 cam LS6 valvesprings LS6 Intake BBK 80mm Throttlebody Stainless works stainless steel long tube headers Custom Y pipe that mates up with a racing beat exhaust system out the back. VERY quiet. The engine is SUPER clean front to back, Runs like a top. Fires right up. Trans: T56 runs good Interior: we have a lot of the interior things, if you want the stuff, just ask about it. needs window switches we are using wires to raise and lower windows (I can make the windows go up and down so I know they work fine). It has a full hinson supercars engine and transmission wiring harness so the engine is clean and pretty. The underside: This is in great condition. NO RUST AT ALL! All of the swap kit is all tubular and powdercoated. It looks really nice. Nothing is out of place or rigged. Paint and body: The paint is good for 20 year car, its been touche up. It does have a few dings in it but nothing major. everyone that has seen it talks about how clean it is. The paint could use a good buff though. No clear coat peeling etc. Almost all of the imperfections can be fixed with some polishing compound and time. Overall the paint and body is in good shape. Car really does look good. The body lines on these car are awesome. Racing 1993 Mazda RX7 LS1 Race Car with Current NASA log book. It can run TTS/ST2 And Waterfordhills.com log book The car is a blast to drive. Really fast and handles like its on rails. Its in great shape and as TONS of potential. with a solid body, suspension and drivetrain. it will be a BAD ASS car.
