Zoinks Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 I am selling my weekend/track day Miata. This car is a joy to drive, dead-nuts reliable, and has been perfect for its intended purpose. The car is nice enough inside and out that it could easily go back to being a DD or just a weekend car, or it could certainly be taken to the next level as a track-only car. Despite being my "track car," I think I only made it out about four times in this car (family obligations, not because of the Miata), so it's not exactly been beaten on. 1997 1.8 Miata, 111xxx miles Engine is stock internally and runs very well. Several "Miata guys" at track days have told me the car feels very strong for a normal 1.8. Depowered steering rack AC Removed Flyin Miata (FM) catback exhaust Team Dynamics 15x7 wheels (think these are the basic SM wheel size) Falken Azenis 615Ks with decent tread FM springs Mystery dampers purported to be development MSM units FM front and rear swaybars Later model NB/MSM "sport" brake package (calipers and larger rotors) with Hawk Blues Hard Dog M2 Sport rollbar with harness bar Glass window soft top in good shape, I believe it is OEM but not original to the car OEM hardtop, with both front latches and SM bolt-on kit Voodoo shift knob I had Piper Motorsports weld in attachment points for a 6-point harness. The harness won't be on the car, but will be easy to add now. I've owned the car about two years. I had a pre-purchase inspection done at PBC, a local Miata specialist, before I bought the car, which I can share. I had the timing belt professionally serviced after buying the car, along with replacing the water pump, thermostat, radiator and heater hoses, and repairing the common oil leak at the CAS. Also replaced the shifter boot. I have receipts for all of that. The car seems to have had a respray at some point, but it looks pretty good. The power antenna is missing, but it still picks up some stations. Looking for $5500. Not interested in separating the hardtop at this point, unless at the request of a buyer of the car. Quote
chad156 Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 That is Summit Point so my guess is mid-Atlantic area. Quote
ILIKETODRIVE Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Looks like a really clean car. GLWS Quote
