Can anyone take a guess, or give me the official answer, as to which class the Mitsubishi Evo would be in?

I'm guessing it would belong in Class C, or maybe Class D.

It's a very fast car in stock form and with 14 points to spend, I think C would be the place for it. But I'm not one to say.

well we in teh Northeast developed the TT rules for out autocross and we will have the Evo and the STi Subey in C plus 5 points. The Faster RX8 will be in D.

There's the official word then, Evo and the STi Subey in C plus 5 points. The RX8 will be in D.

The Faster RX8 will be in D.

This is a joke right? RX8 = 3029 lbs RWD (12.72 lbs per HP) with 238 HP 159 ft/lbs torque (crank), STi = 3150 lbs with 300 HP & 300 ft/lbs torque crank AWD (10.5 lbs per HP). Am I missing something or was this just a typo?

See you folks at Thunderhill in my Blue STi -- shooting for 2:02 on Hoosiers.

Cheers, Rob.

Are we missing the joke? The RX8 is not in the STi/Evo class.

You tell me the joke -- how did the RX8 even enter this discussion?

I'm not sure. You seemed to want to compare it to the STi - which is in a higher class.
