llis
In favor. We already do this in NASA Rocky Mountain.

icemang17
FOR I think the issue of "track power" vs dyno power is very hard to classify...with modern stand alone ECU's it is very easy to have a hidden switch or button or even cell phone that can quickly change the flash of the ECU to "dyno" mode vs normal full power mode.... A more honest way is GPS based acceleration....you claim your car to have XXX HP, but it appears to accelerate at a rate of XXX +25hp? How do you explain this? kbrew8991
I believe GTS adopted the rules like that PT and ST have had for a while: Any hardware that allows a competitor to wirelessly connectto the ECU at any time during competition or post-competition impound is strictly prohibited, regardless of whether such hardware is external or internal to the ECU. if not, you guys should probably consider adding it... still doesn't fix the hidden push to pass button, but at least shuts down one big gaping hole. It's already part of the GTS Dyno declaration sheet we turn in with our Dyno sheets. -Scott B.
Luke P.
A more honest way is GPS based acceleration....you claim your car to have XXX HP, but it appears to accelerate at a rate of XXX +25hp? How do you explain this? Aero? Less drag? Don't think that's reliable enough.
