Cobra4B Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 (edited) EDIT - Good to go! Thanks. ------------------- Just looking for something to run around on the last two trackdays of the year. Doing testing on my new setup. Don't want to waste stickers and don't want to try and feel out the new suspension on the old super low profile 255s I have in the shed. Thanks, Brian Edited November 7, 2013 by Guest Quote
1LapSRT Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 I have some Hankook C91's in that size with only 6 laps at VIR on them (2 heat cycles) from UTCC. I also have some nearly new GrandAm tires in 275/35/18. Bought new and only 1 heat cycle on them. "Ghost tread" pattern is still visible. Quote
Cobra4B Posted November 7, 2013 Author Posted November 7, 2013 Are the GrandAm tires considered a slick or are they classified the same as an A6/R6? Quote
1LapSRT Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 Are the GrandAm tires considered a slick or are they classified the same as an A6/R6? I do believe NASA has a comment in the rules saying they are acceptable as DOT (non-slick) tires. Please verify that. Quote
