whitetiger15v Posted August 4, 2014 Share Posted August 4, 2014 An allison legacy has a low powered engine compared to thunder roadsters. Put it this way, my TWS qualifying lap was 1:55.8. The second fastest qualifyer was a 2:01.9, a PT miata. The closest allison (which had a different motor to mine, 50 or so more horsepower) turned a 2:08.0. We were a full 3 seconds quicker than the fastest miatas. Please bear in mind that spec miatas are getting more and more expensive to be competitive. I am asking less than $10k for my allison car.
