I just purchased this car in hopes to build a cheap and fun road race track car but I think I want to go with my first idea of building another Mustang track car. That being said, I'm willing to sell or trade for a mustang. Here are the details:

1990 Miata - bare bones (A package)

~160k miles

Salvaged title (I was told from a minor front end collision ~8 yrs ago - no frame damage)

Black top with glass rear window - near perfect condition

1.6L engine - stock and unmolested

The car was painted at Maaco and looks very decent (even painted door jams). It is definitely not a show car but is certainly very presentable as a street car and an excellent track/autocross car! The car is very solid with no known issues. Ride is very firm but not abusive to the body.

 

The car was smogged in July 2013 and passed with no issues. Will smog for serious buyer or we can negotiate that in final price since it has passed the 90 day timeframe of smog certification.

 

I am asking $4000 or trade for a mustang (preferably with some suspension mods). Car is located in Northern California (Bay Area)
