Description Weight: 2807lbs with a nearly empty fuel tank and no driver. RWHP: 296 on a DynoJet Location: Houston, TX This car has been completely disassembled, inspected, cleaned and reassembled with great attention to detail. All bolts, seals, axles, control arms and bearings have been replaced with new OEM BMW components. All suspension bushings have been replaced with Turner solid aluminum bushings or spherical bearings. All systems/components are in perfect working order with zero issues. During the build, all fluids were changed including: Engine (Castrol TWS 10w60), Transmission (Pentosin MTF2), Brake System (Castrol SRF) and Differential (BMW Motorsport 75W-140). Since the initial build, all usage has been logged and fluids have been regularly changed. All engine maintenance items have been addressed – The VANOS system has been inspected and no issues were found. The VANOS filter has been changed, timing chain tensioner has been replaced and engine valves have been adjusted. The engine has new spark plugs, accessory belt, coolant/power steering hoses and new throttle position sensors and MAF sensor among other items. The engine and drive train have 74k miles. All other wear related items have been replaced and have approximately 2k miles. Since completing the build, the car has done 8 track days and one NASA TT3 race, placing second both days against a very capable advasary. The Hoosier R6 tires and brake pads only have 8 short TT sessions on them from the race in September. Everything was throroughly tested and fine tuned over the summer, performing flawlessly at NASA. The car is dialed in and very forgiving to drive - for those of you that are familiar with Texas World Speedway, my best lap from the NASA TT race was 1.52 CCW on R6's with no aero. This car meets all rules for NASA GTS and TT3, and was specifically built to race GTS3/4. I have most receipts for large items and can provide full documentation on the usage and maintenance. Obligatory “Why are you selling it?” - Focusing on new goals and opportunities. SOLD, thanks! kbrew8991 Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 I was really impressed with the cleanliness and pace of this car when it was out at the NASA-TX TWS event. Hope it doesn't sell because I want to see more of it! Or make sure the new owner does NASA stuff... Quote
disapr Posted November 19, 2013 Author Posted November 19, 2013 Thanks Ken - If the new owner isn't a NASA member, I'll make them sign up before taking the car Quote
