jaje Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 (edited) SOLD!!! 1994 Mazda Miata with 161k miles on it. Carfax showed no significant wreck in its lifetime (when I bought it in 2011). It is a NASA Spec Miata rules compliant car (2014 Rules should be released in January 2014 but no significant changes should affect the car). Car was built to SM rules in early 2012 and was used to compete in NASA Central Region finishing 2nd in 2012 and 4th in 2013 in the region. The car has won several races and frequently is on the podium. Car maybe titled in your state as all the lights work on it. It has been maintained and prepared each season by Jesse Prather Motorsports in Topeka, KS (JPM). JPM is a NASA Tech Shop and a Mazda guru. Car has also not been wrecked or hit so the body is in good shape and frame / panels are straight. Price is $8,500 for the car as is – as with any racecar significantly more was spend building and improving it. Please go to this link for more details and photos. http://conflictedracer.wordpress.com/2013/11/18/for-sale-1994-nasa-spec-miata/ Edited January 10, 2014 by Guest Quote
jaje Posted December 17, 2013 Author Posted December 17, 2013 Still for sale. Price is dropped to $8k total but I get to keep the Ultrashield Drivers Seat and 6 Point FIA Belts. Otherwise I'm firm and won't sell. Shipping is at buyer's expense. I could possibly deliver it locally to the KC area within 200 miles but time and expenses will be charged. This is the cheapest SM for sale with a pro built head in the US. I will likely raise the price come spring if this doesn't sell as racecars get more expensive then. Think of it as a much needed present! I can also make a deal with the SM and include my < 1 year old 2013 steel Parker Performance Trailer (Texas) 14" open middle deck (12x with 2" dovetail) x 6.5" wide I tow it on - includes etrack, locking winch with tow vehicle connect clip, tandem with 1 brake axle, removable drivers side fender, custom 6' aluminum ramps with easy access, 1 spare tire mounted, and only weighs 1,400 lbs empty. You can tow it with minivans, v6 gas SUVs, easily and forget it's back there. I get 17-21 mpg towing the Miata on this trailer with my Jeep Grand Cherokee (it's a diesel though). Quote
