olaaf Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 I would like to replace the clutch as a preventative measure for next year. I was thinking just getting an OE replacement unit as the power level is stock. Is this a good idea? thanks, olaaf Quote
Al Watson Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 I always recommend a clutch rated at or slightly above current power levels. It allows some slip to not shock the trans to death and help with standing start traction. If I were you I would leave the one in there, no need the change unless its broke. Quote
Racer91m Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 I use the stock clutch in my car. I bought an Exedy replacement, but it was 2# heavier so I stuck with OEM disc and pressure plate... Quote
