Carl Byck
If I am signed up as a provisional instructor, can I compete in TT in the same day so long as fulfil my instructor obligations? Thanks, Carl
Keith
My understanding of the rules are that if you qualify for HPDE 4, you are qualified for TT. Contact your Regional Director for confirmation.
Carl Byck
Actually, my question is can I at an event where I am functioning as an instructor/provisional instructor, also compete in time trial. It would be the same as an instructor competing in a race. In other words, do I need to pay an entry fee as an instructor(would not normally pay) because I am also competing? Thanks, Carl
Keith
I don't know what region you are in so I cannot say 100%. However, I have instructed at local events and run time trials with my entrance fee paid since I instructed. I also know that the option is open to me to instruct and race with my entrance fee paid, but I have not done this yet. I still recommend that you contact your local regional director for confirmation.
