troyguitar
Specifically: Vented hoods and/or changing the front bumper such that the air intake is from the front rather than below. Both provide an aero benefit on a C5 - Do they count as non-OEM aero pieces for classing though?
braknl8
I may be mistaken but I believe hood is free but you can't tinker with the front very much.
brkntrxn
Do what you want to the hood in the name of "cooling" and take no horsepower hit. Cut a hole in the front bumper cover and duct it to the radiator in the name of "cooling" and take no horsepower hit. Put a piece of tape on the gap between the hood and front bumper cover and you take a .4 horsepower hit. Tape or full aero: go big or go slow. Varkwso
Hoods are free. Any other mods, including tape, are not. The C5 had no OEM factory aero - ther then the basic design (pretty effective).
