NASA-SE proudly presents the annual Savannah Sizzler at Roebling Road! This will be a fun filled event that promises to exceed all previous levels of NASA-SE quality events. We will have our normal schedule starting on Friday and continuing through out the weekend. This event includes:

High Performance Driver's Education (HPDE) - drivers of all makes and models of cars can sign up and begin at the novice level (HPDE 1) and work their way to advanced driving skills. All drivers start with classroom instruction as well as an in-car instructor to guide you to drive your car at the limits. All of this takes place with the safety of a racetrack under controlled conditions.

Time Trials (TT) - Drivers will compete for their fastest lap times and win all types of contingency money and prizes. The beauty of TT is the fact that you can do all of this with only your street car and a helmet!

Sprint Races - All of the standard NASA classes will be participating, 944Spec, American Iron(AI), Factory Five Racing (FFR), German Touring Series (GTS), Honda Challenge(HC), Performance Touring(PT), SpecBoxter, SpecE30, SpecMiata, SpecZ, Super Unlimited(SU), Super Touring(ST), ThunderRoadster(TR), Outlaw Vintage(V), etc. Cars will be split up into groups and the racing will be intense to watch and participate in!

New Management! - We are excited to work with the new track management at Roebling Road, they are positioning the track to become a world class facility that will be a destination in the Savannah area for years to come!

Low Country Boil! - We are bringing all of the fixin' for a Low Country Boil saturday night! We need folks to man the boilers and prep the food - contact Julie via [email protected] to volunteer!

Super Touring Racers -- If you have not turned in dyno and class paperwork for the SE, bring it to me. I will be the ST/SU Director for the weekend.

Tom will be training me Tuesday night over a frosty mug on how to DQ you guys. Especially people named Aleksy that drive BMWs.

I do not know where I will be parked, but I have a red F250 and a red ST3/TT3 C5 Corvette.

So if we bring a 12 pack, then we auto-podium?

strippers and good tequila might be better...with photos

Oh for sure, would stream a live feed then. All we need now is a keg and a BBQ pit and nobody would go home

Roebling is asking folks to keep trailers off Zeigler Rd. All trailers, not just big rigs like used to be the case.

What they're asking us to do is instead of turning off of Hwy 80 on to Zeigler, stay on Hwy 80 for a couple hundred yards West until you hit a Y in the road. Stay right to and take Hwy 17 / 30 for about a mile and then turn right on Roebling Rd.

I agree, plus anyone who has gone this way vs. "the Ziegler Rd. zig-zag" thru the neighborhoods will agree that it is much easier to maneuver any trailer from Hwy 17/30 to the track!
