dkelly993
I will be making my first tt event at njmp in May. I have a 2010 camaro ss. Only engine mod is headers and air intake. Makes 426hp from the factory about 415 at the wheels. Question is do I need to Dyno the car? I thought I read somewhere only engine swaps require Dyno. Other than that I am pretty sure I am a tt3 car
sperkins
You can register, but your times will not be allowed without a current dyno sheet.
wheelhopper
I would think you would want to know for your own benefit. Since the class is limited by a HP/WT ratio you may find you are leaving 30+hp on the table that you could get by a tune, which does not cost you points, or be able to shed 100lbs. Right now you're just guessing and your fellow TT'ers are not going to be thrilled with that.
kbrew8991
TT1/2/3 cars need to submit a dyno with their class sheet... so... it's that or run TTU.
