Fellow NASA drivers, and fellow racers, you may be aware that there are some transitions going on with Hoosier from their 6 compound to the 7. With that in mind, inventory on the R/A 6’s is low as they are not keeping their normal stock levels. Some tires sizes are in stock, others need to be ordered and yet other sizes have transitioned fully to the 7 compound. That said, we would need you to order tires earlier than usual for the Sebring event, to ensure that your needs are met. Furthermore, those of you that run Toyo’s or any other brand of tire, please let us know what you will need as well. If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact me.

Thank You for your support

Things are starting to come together nicely for this event. Huge thanks to everyone who is choosing to spend their weekend with us!

The first of two confirmation/details emails for participants has been sent. If you registered recently you didn't get this one but will get the final one, although they are very similar: http://eepurl.com/2vEJn

Registration closes one week from tonight (so, 9pm Tue Sep 30) from https://www.nasaproracing.com/event/1801 . Trackside registrations with late fee will be available to qualified drivers in any group that has space.

At the moment registration is open for all groups but HPDE1 (which has a waiting list but it's pretty short.) And we do need at least a few more instructor registrations please.

Entry list is being updated once or twice a day until registration closes: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1itLZvDllwgqaRePxcGVxDi83TRztFL5r3GuCARhPA2U/pubhtml

If you are on the entry list in yellow and you don't update me before registration closes next week, it will cost you $25 to do so at the track! Note: we don't actually want your money (although Pat will happily spend it at the Chateau bar), what we want is a complete & correct entry list by 9pm Tue 9/30, it saves time & hassle for all of us on Saturday morning. Please take the time to do your part... honestly we're only as good as the incomplete or incorrect registrations you put through, which is exactly what you see on the list.

Oh, if your car number is on there in red, it means you didn't get your first choice number due to conflicts. The number on the list is what needs to be big and visible on your car, no exceptions. Please see the last question at the bottom of our FAQ for more about why this is so important, http://www.drivenasafl.com/faq/

Worth mentioning again, there will be no registrations or entry list changes from 9pm Tue 9/30 until we open up Saturday morning 10/4 at the track. This is because of all the time it takes to finalize everything and get on site and get set up. As usual there is no trackside registration or wristbanding on Friday night, just tech. This is noted on the posted schedule.

Speaking of schedule, we are a go for version "Alt v2" with one race group. That should be final as far as I know. It's linked from http://www.drivenasafl.com/scheduleresults/sebring/ . Racers, we will talk about your split starts at the meeting on Saturday morning.

As usual there will be autocrossing both days in the paddock so please be mindful of traffic and only take as much setup space as you really need - having 100 feet between trailers is unnecessary. Also please be mindful of infield road traffic as well as cars in motion at all times. Friends, family, and nonmembers are welcome to autocross, please see the link on this page for info & registration: http://www.drivenasafl.com/driving/autocross/

Any questions, please let me know. Thanks again and see you at Sebring!

Jon
