olaaf
measured with a micrometer, the banjo bolts are fine. i did however check the front wheel bearings and the front left has just a tiny amount of play. i've ordered new wheel bearings, hopefully the problem is brake pad knockback, and the fact that i changed the rear calipers was correlation not causation
olaaf
still soft after replacing the hubs, not that i logically expected that to solve the issue. any other ideas?
suck fumes
Just suck it up and drive it! As long as they work then just adapt to it. You've already replaced anything and everything. You ever measure your rotor thickness?
larsend
Just throwing this out there. After I swapped to ss lines; the brakes were initially fine. But after a short time I started experiencing problems including a soft pedal. Robert and Mitch Miller kept telling me you need to shorten your rear banjo bolts. Well I finally did and guess what. Better brakes and a solid pedal. Maybe when you replaced the crush washers, the replacements were slightly thinner, and the banjo bolts are too far down in the calipers. John John, Can you please post up a Part Number / Source? Thanks Doug
