blackti
CAR HAS BEEN SOLD Model: 1998 325is (professionally updated with plastic bumpers) Color: Lachssilber Price: $11k obo - I think I got a nice deal on the front end (original ad below), and I've put $1,500 into it in the past few months (tires and maintenance) Mileage: Odo stopped at 167k / chassis estimated at <200k / suspension all <10 years old / drivetrain estimated at <125k Reason for sale: I purchased this car over the winter and have only had time to get on track twice so far this summer. This is essentially my dream E30 (after owning many), but I think that I'm going to go back to a daily driver that I can enjoy more often and occasionally track. I've had other E30s for track and street, and I wish I had gone to an S50 swap years ago. It adds the extra variable of surplus power without diluting any of the known E30 positives. This is as well setup as any I've seen. It's been beautifully and professionally built and maintained. It's just painful to see it sit, and my garage space is limited. Here are some pictures from this past weekend (unfortunately bug splattered and fresh from the track, but she shines up like a show car). Zero rust (from Virginia originally) or cosmetic issues. The car was originally built by Mike Robinson of Sports & Imports in Chesapeake, VA, and was meticulously maintained by Bimmerworld from 2007 to 2013. Since I've owned it, I did the following: - Replaced tie rods, thermostat, and clutch master cylinder (slight leak) - Put new Dunlop Direzza DZIIs (205/55R15) on, so these only have two track days Other details: 1988 352is base car VIN WBAAA130XJ4141605 1995 E36 M3 S50 Transmission and ZF 5 speed. 3.73 LSD.
