PureSpeedMotorsports
With the launch of the new 2015 Mustang, it's all-new platform, and IRS - curious to see how NASA treats the Spec Iron class. As you all know, the SI class is the 05-10 4.6L platform; what's to become of the 11-14 5.0L platform in regards to harmonization into the SI class? Will the SI remain 05-10? What's your thoughts? stevepoe
I see no changes... si is a great class and will only get better.
suck fumes
Spec iron is growing fast. 13 cars for its first real nationals (last yr didn't count cause barely any cars were built) is amazing! It will be the next big affordable spec muscle car class. Don't change something that has huge potential.
dbrad
So it has been little over a year since the last post on this thread. What are your current thoughts on the future of SI?
SNAKBITN
Same as before. There are more and more cars being built for SI. There are a few small rule changes coming which will help the series.SI is the place to race mustangs at a affordable cost. It's the best spec class in Nasa. I am a little bais though
