s625h
Will the current Mylaps car transponder work for TT/Race, or do you still have to use the AMB model TranX260??
s625h
I'm referring to the current Mylaps car FLEX transponder
TurboShortBus
This one, yes? https://www.mylaps.com/en/products/car-flex-subscriptions/604 It seems like it would, but I can't say for sure. It might be best to directly contact AMB/MyLaps and ask them. Mark
s625h
Thanks Mark. Your link is correct. FYI the Mylaps FLEX specs are MAX 160 mph. I'll call Mylaps and find out what the difference is. I didn't know AMB and Mylaps are the same company. Thanks for the help!
TurboShortBus
FYI the Mylaps FLEX specs are MAX 160 mph. That should likely be fine. The part numbers for AMB transponders refer to the maximum vehicle speed in kilometers per hour. TranX260 (cars) = 260 km/h = 161.6 mph TranX160 (karts) = 160 km/h = 99.4 mph Mark
kbrew8991
if you're sure you're going to be doing this a while, do the math on where the break even point is on getting a non-subscription model. (Hint - it's pretty short...)
Snowmants
Is it better to get the wireless version or the wired version? What do most people use?
SNAKBITN
Most seem to get the wired version
kbrew8991
My wireless/rechargeable model has been fine. Either one works, it's more about if you want/need the ease of swapping your TX between cars or not
