Which class is this car eligible to run in?

Hello, I'm new and I'm wondering if a BMW E36 3-series with an LS3 swap is eligible to race in any classes in florida events. I know other groups can be particular about engine/body combinations, so I'm wondering what the deal is with NASA. Thanks in advance.

Yes, if it passed race tech it could be run in Super Unlimited for sure. Or more likely one of the Super Touring classes depending on power-to-weight and some other factors. See https://nasa-assets.s3.amazonaws.com/document/document/342/Super_Touring_Rules_2015_v9.1--1-5-15.pdf . Or of course you could always TT it (similarly in TTU or TT1-2-3)... or HPDE it as long as it passes basic HPDE tech ( https://www.nasaproracing.com/images/rules-forms/form_hpde_tech.pdf )

Either way, come run it at Sebring on May 1-3!

Thanks & hope it helps,

Jon
