s625h
Palmer Motorsports Park, (PMP) sold NASA Northeast and "UNMUFFLED EVENT" for September 25-26-27. Now Palmer is lowering the sound limit back down to 96 db. Palmer lists a 96 db sound limit on their website. Beware before you tow your car all the way out there. The track sits back 1 mile from the main road. Absurd!! Bait and Switch??
gobuffs
Palmer is having issues with the neighbors due to sound. They could have completely cancelled the event. Sound limits is the trend everywhere...especially in the NE so this shouldn't be a surprise.
ILIKETODRIVE
This happened here in Phoenix. Arizona Motorsports Park (AMP) was built prior to surrounding neighborhoods being built AND sits adjacent to Luke Air Force Base. Even with all of that, the neighborhoods won a legal battle for nearly a decade to keep the track shut down due to the high volume of noise. Again: ACTIVE AIR FORCE BASE. Pathetic.
