We all agree that driving in race conditions can be grueling and taxing. I'd be interested to know what kind of workout programs you guys are on to increase fitness and mental acuity for racing.

I have done a number of different things over the years. I just finished the 60-day Insanity Max30 program. If you have limited time to workout, I think you get a very good full body workout with this program.

When life doesn't get in the way 3 days at the Crossfit box, and a 40-50 mile Saturday bike ride.

 

Have done a couple rounds of P90X prior and it works as well.

General cardio sorts of things seem to be the biggest help at the club level...

I'm doing T-25. I travel A LOT, the fact that you don't need weights is convenient. Plus it's only half an hour with the stretching afterwards.
