synolimit
It's prob been asked before but I've got a lot done and within each section do I click more than option? Obviously not in the tire section as you can only run 1 option but do you only get 1 option in the others or multiple. National Staff Greg G. Posted May 2, 2016 National Staff Share Posted May 2, 2016 ST2/TT2 or ST3/TT3---Depends on the actual Minimum Competition Weight and Avg HP (or the Max HP plus your choice of amount of room for Dyno variance for ST2/TT2) --see the ST or TT Rules. Also, this calculator is helpful: https://nasa-assets.s3.amazonaws.com/document/document/4423/NASA_ST_U_1_2_3_Class_Calculator_2016_v1.xlsx
synolimit
That calculator has no aero and seems to be missing a lot.
National Staff Greg G. Posted May 2, 2016 National Staff Share Posted May 2, 2016 Please read the ST Rules. Your car is in the higher level classes where items like aero and suspension have only a few limitations...
trigger
the 370Z starts in TTB with * (7 extra points). which means you only have 12 points to play with. I counted about 15 points before even getting to the aero. That said. you are definitely in the TT1/2/3 classes. your car is well setup to play in TT3. if your about 150lbs you would have 3150lbs / 313HP = 10.0 lbs per HP. right at the limit for TT3. read the rules and play with the calculator here https://www.nasaproracing.com/rules

E1 and E2 talk about external res or piggy back external res. Do I pick 1 or both? Having trouble on all these sections cause I'm not sure if I get 1 like tires or I have to pick more? National Staff Greg G. Posted May 3, 2016 National Staff Share Posted May 3, 2016 Scott, You should be reading Section 7 of the TT Rules--pages 6-13, not Section 8. Contact your regional TT Director, Joe Sullivan for assistance. http://www.nasa-tt.com/Regions
synolimit
I don't think my cars legal actually. Unless I classify as a non production car after reading some of that.
National Staff Greg G. Posted May 4, 2016 National Staff Share Posted May 4, 2016 I don't think my cars legal actually. Unless I classify as a non production car after reading some of that. That is possible depending on items like tubbing the inner fender wells, etc. The Non-Production Mod Factor is not that large--only -0.4. Like I said, you would be best off speaking with Joe, sending him photos of the modifications in question, etc. While folks are well-intentioned here, you may not get correct answers, and it is best to speak to the guy who is going to inspect your car for compliance.
