Oil Accumulator points?

I see under C21 on the TT calculator that you take +7 points for adding a dry sump oil system.

Would adding an oil accumulator accrue any points?

Since the accumulator is a reliability component and not a performance component, i can't imagine it impacting points at all, but curious to see if you got confirmation one way or the other on this... i'll be putting an accusump on mine soon and it'd suck to bump a class up because of it...

Correct.

 

Dry dump systems have no oil storage in the oil pan. A pump pulls all of the oil from the pan and store it elsewhere. The accumulator stores a portion, only adding it to the system when pressure drops.
