I bought this to build up as a spare motor but I will not be getting to the rebuild anytime soon. The engine was pulled from a vehicle with 142k miles. The crankshaft rotates. I have no idea of actual condition of engine as I have not disassembled it. This engine is best used as a rebuild core. I have no idea if it will work as just a drop in with no refresh.
