early 944 CV axles?

Hoping somebody out there can help.  I'm just about done ordering parts to prep my '83 944, and have not had trouble finding what I need - till now.  I was told to get CV axles manufactured by GKN, and can not find them anywhere.  This is for the early model 944, with the steel arms.  Pelican Parts has been my go-to but they have none and say none are on the horizon either.  Does anybody know where I could find some, or failing that, know of a good substitute?  Thanks

are the axles bad or just the boots? if its the boots ive had good success just ordering the boot rebuild kits.

I have had great luck with new Axles from Paragon Products.  Not sure what brand, but they have been great for years!  I use them in my 944 Spec car and a 944 Turbo race car.
