Willow Springs Motels

Assuming that Rosamond is the preferred place to stay for the May 24/25 event at Willow Springs, the hotel guide indicates that there are four choices:

 

Carl's Motel (661-256-2043)

Devonshire Inn Motel (661-256-3454)

Gold Rush Inn (661-256-1015)

Joshua Motel (661-256-2348)

 

Does anyone have a recommendation for a motel in Rosamond, or is it better to stay in Mojave or Lancaster? Are there any other motels in Rosamond that should be considered?

Fred-I have stayed at the Devonshire in the past. It's very basic but is clean and super close to the track. I think they still have a continental breakfast included as well.

Devinshire Inn is the place to stay.

They even have secured locked parking area for you race car and trailer.

As seen on the registration page for the Willow event ,there are several blocked rooms for NASA at $60 each night at the Park plaza inn .

The place is great and comes with breakfast.

I just booked a room at the Plaza with the NASA rate of $60. I was going to make a reservation at the Devonshire - I did not because they were $74 for double occ. and would not match the Plaza rate.

Tony.... thanks for working the deal with the Plaza... we have a room booked for Fri (travel day) and Sat.... they are 13 miles from the track... I talked to a guy named Thomas.... he's a gearhead... and really seemed supportive of racers....Thanks
