Hey everybody..Just wanted to let you know my father passed away today after a long battle with cancer, I am not sure how it will work out if I have to go back to Sweden or if I will make Sears Point..Knowing my dad he would love me to run at Sears...He took me to my first race in 1973..F1 at Anderstorp, ....Supported me through my whole life..Started my racing career with no money..

I will dedicate my 2003 efforts to him..I miss him...

Per, all of us are sadden by the news of your fathers passing.

No one is ever prepared for this, so take your time to do what is right for you.

We wish you the best for your family in these very hard times.

I'm very sorry Per - I lost my mother not too long ago - I can understand how you're feeling.

I don't think any words can help, but maybe knowing a few of us 'fellow racers' care will do a little.

You're in our thoughts and prayers...

My condolences Per. I admire you for carrying on as a tribute to your father.

That is a great way to honor him.

Per,

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I am sure that he knew you loved him very much. You have your "race" family right here; as close as a phone call or email. Take care.

I want to thank everyone for the support, having the CMC racing family sure helps out. My dad was 80 years old and have had a good life, he has been to Sears Point, Laguna Seca, Willow Springs, Buttonwillow to see me race..And last time I raced at Sears Point with SCCA he was there...

Per,

I'm so sorry to hear of your huge loss. I know how very much you love both your parents and how worried you have been about them both for the past few weeks.

If you race next weekend at Sers Point, your father will be in the car right next to you, urging you on in Swedish, because he's so proud of you.

Hugs,

Per,

Sorry to hear about your loss, it's a terrible thing. When my Dad passed away a couple of years ago, it caused me to take a hard look at my life. After much thought I came to the conclusion that life is short and you need to live it to it's fullest. Looks like you and your Dad shared that same outlook. Look forward to seeing you at Sears.

Per, Sorry to hear of your loss, I am sure, from the way you speak of him , that going to Sear's would be the best thing you can do to honor him.... he'll be right there riding with you. Live with the memories in your heart and let go of the things we have no control of. Since I live so close if there is anything I can do, just call.
