Greg R.
Tony, I registered this morning. Sorry for the delay--I was out of town this last week. I would say the best tow vehicle is the one that gets you there and back every weekend without hassle or breakdown! ToTheLimit
Dodge...? This is not the "camaromustangbarracuda" Challenge Well I thought it was somewhere in the rules you get extra points at each race for using a Ford or GM product to tow there.. And if you Tow with the opposite marque..You get one extra point.. (Just came back home from helping Don C. at Searsfineon... dont ask..please)

ToTheLimit
Don had a rough weekend, should have been on the road to next weekends race at Road America tonite..But racing is sometimes very tough on your mind and budget..Unfortunately World Challenge race at Laguna Seca is same weekend as we are running at T-hill..Don would really need/appreciate any encourgament at this time..He is really working hard on this.. Send him your E-mails or call him to show your support . (and AI driver Kevin Chambers blow up engine in his primary car and ended up racing his T1 car.I watched him working on it until 2am Sun morning .and got in accident with it.in the race.) Blainefab
Hi guys and gals - Some of you know me by my #34 AIX Camaro. That car is tied up running ITE this season, so Perry Kincy has graciously loaned me the #96 CMC 4thgen Camaro. I just faxed my RFR entry to Dave and am looking forward to my CMC debut! Members Al F.
Woah! Why didn't I think of that! Why bother having your own car when you can just borrow someone's! That's very cool Alan, have fun out there. I still haven't seen my shocks
racercosmo1548534707
Come on Alan, you will have so much more fun in AIX than ITE. We need more GMs.
Tony G
Don't worry Al,I'm usually putting my engine back in my car the night before we race.Maybe I should put in TWO radiators this time, just in case. Think I'll take some more weight out of it too..just for Nick. Tony
Blainefab
Cosmo - I'd sure like to put a bowtie up front, but it will take a bit more development to run with those fast Mustangs in AIX. Got myself in a tie for ITE series lead, so the #34 probably won't see AIX this season. Sure looking forward to running in a pack of V8's instead of lapping Mazda's, so I'll get schooled in CMC and wave at the AI/X cars. Richard Pryor1548534703
Allan is being modest, he's running with and beating Porsches, BMWs, Vettes and others in SCCA's unlimited ITE class...he almost had the championship last year and is locked in a tremendously entertaining battle with David Smith (ex Camaro racer) and his Speedvision BMW...I'll be running our new build CMC Camaro at Laguna this weekend in ITE with Allan and am looking forward to seeing their great race until they pull away...anyone in the area should stop by Laguna and watch the race Sunday morning around noon...we'll have our three "for sale" cars there if you're in the market...check out the classified for all details...see you there, Allan. racercosmo1548534707
Richard, in September, NASA will be at Thunderhill. Since you're not locked in a points battle, why don't you bring or all of your cars for sale up there and try to show them of to the CMC and AI/AIX guys. I'll chip in for gas money. Richard Pryor1548534703
The only points battle I'm involved with is how many I've got to pay on my house loan.....I only have time this year to run three race weekends and SCCA at Laguna is two and the NASA CMC at Sears will be three....however, if someone wants to buy one of the Camaros they can be delivered anywhere in California ready-to-race.....and if NASA can schedule some better dates at Sears and Laguna, I'll run all those next year....and next time you're in Carmel, give me a call and we'll take a couple of the cars out on Quail Lodge Golf Course private roads...it's actually quite a nice 1.1 mile track....heck, longer than Fernley and just down the street from the Baja Cantina....new home of the CMC Laguna Seca dinner, if and when NASA schedules a CMC race there...and, yes, my offer to buy dinner for everyone still stands. Richard Pryor1548534703
Alan Blaine qualified on the pole in ITE at Laguna Seca this weekend over his points rival, David Smith in a BMW, and in the race came home the winner after a tremendous battle that pitted the brute strength of the GM powerplant against the lightweight of the Speedvision BMW and tested the driving skills of both men...suffice it to say that Alan drove the wheels off his #34 4th gen Camaro (entirely developed and built by Alan, too) to a win and the fastest race lap at a 1:43.855 (the track was slower in the race)....so watch out CMC racers...Karnak predicts that Alan Blaine is going to blow off some CMC regulars and win at Fernly/Reno in Perry Kincy's Chevy...not even a new radiator in Tony's Mustang will keep Alan out of the winner's circle (and is there any truth to the rumour that the Umbrella Girls will be at the track?)....oh, and check out the classifieds for our Camaros for sale for CMC if you want to get in on the action at Reno....Don Campbell jumped in our CMC car and cranked out a 1:46.552 while acquainting himself with the Laguna Seca track for his upcoming Speed World Challenge race in 5 weeks...Don ended up 3rd in Super Production (they lump everyone together and two Transam cars beat him going 15 seconds a lap quicker) and got in his goal of familiarization with the track. It was a treat watching him drive...he was super smooth when he won the CMC championship last year but with the additional time he's been getting since running the GT Corvette he's gotten even more consistent...his lap times were within a tenth of a second every lap...really impressive...and he didn't scratch the car so anyone interested in buying it, there's still a shiny new Earl Scheib paint job without a single scratch....check out the classifieds for full details on the three cars we have for sale....I had fun too and ran in ITE with no qualifying time and started dead last in 38th and had a passing spree to finish 5th in ITE (just needed four more laps to get third but would never have even seen the race with Alan and David in first and second)...even though some of the backmarkers apparently don't have mirrors, or don't understand their function, this car, too still has it's shiny new paint job. Go racing, buy one, give me some more room in my garage!
Blainefab
Thanks for the vote of confidence, Richard - I've got the #34 parked real close to the #96 so hopefully something will rub off. Do you spose everybody would mind if they found BMW emblems on their rear bumpers Sat AM? Regards, Alan #34 ITE/AIX #96 CMC
