It has a battery and locks up the trailer wheels should the trailer get away from you. I heard that this is a legal requirement in CA, don't know if that is for sure. I do feel this is a good safety feature we all should have. Quote

Lady in Nomex Posted October 11, 2003 Author Posted October 11, 2003 Brad, the trailer breakaway kit cost $120.00. My sponsor got it for me, either from Les Schwab or a trailer place in Oroville he deals with. I'm sure any trailer place would have these. Quote
