fast john
Hi there. My name is John and I am building a car for CMC. The car is a third gen. camaro. I have read the rules on rollcages in the CCR's and how do you judge the weight of your car before building it, to determine what size tubing to use or do you have a standard for CMC. I have built quite a few cages for dirt cars and that standard is 1 3/4" x .095" for a 3200 pound car. All help is greatly welcome. Thanks fast John
Tony G
Hi John, As per the NASA CCr's you will have to use 1 3/4 .120 wall when you use DOM tubing. No ERW tubing is allowed. Should be no problem getting your car to the 3,200lb weight with driver. Tony
