Members Al F. Posted February 7, 2004 Members Posted February 7, 2004 I got an auto-email from Nasa today, and in it is an explanation of a sound limit of 103dB being measured at turn 12 (main straight). WTF? Have they done this before? I have no idea how loud 103 is. Should I be worried? Quote
bsim Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 29.95 @ Radio Shack for a db meter. I use mine for home theater. I know your car's loud, but for reference, mine's just under 92db (Laguna limit). It depends on where the meter will be, distance from the cars, etc. Easy sloution is to not go WOT when you pass it (gee, why do they tell us where it is?). BTW - I didn't get anything about a sound limit anywhere.... Quote
NickS Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 103 db is *loud* My street car won't trip 103 db throught he mufflers and I think it makes a tad more noise than a CMC car does. Don't worry about it. Quote
racercosmo1548534707 Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 If you're not louder than Bruce Griggs in Old Blue, you'll be ok. Quote
